The Cebu Furniture Industries Foundation (CFIF), Inc., is a primary industry support organization of furniture and furnishings manufacturers and exporters in the Philippines is in need of a driven and committed individual to fill up the following position:

FINANCE & ADMIN OFFICER

Qualifications:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology or equivalent
  • With at least 1 year experience in general accounting preferably in financial report preparation, bookkeeping, and payroll
  • Good communication skills – both written and oral
  • Systematic and organized
  • Computer literate
  • Patient, trustworthy and can work overtime
  • Mature and can deal with work pressure
  • Knowledge in QuickBooks is an advantage
  • Can start immediately
Finance/Accounting Functions:
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely preparations and releasing of checks
  • Responsible for the timely follow-ups of collections
  • Monitoring of bank investments
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Coordinates with the external auditor in the generation of financial reports
  • Responsible for the correct and timely bookkeeping of accounts
  • Responsible for accurate and timely record-keeping and inventory
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely preparations of government remittances
  • Prepares monthly income and expanded tax payments
  • Prepares employees payroll
  • Petty cash custodian
Admin Functions:
  • Coordinates with the messenger in the processing of business permit renewal
  • Responsible for Board meeting preparations
  • Responsible for the safekeeping of Board files
  • Responsible for keeping employees records
  • Responsible for the implementation of employees rules, guidelines and benefits
  • Responsible for safekeeping office keys and equipment
  • Procurement of office supplies
  • Facilitates travel booking arrangement
