A premium, extensive and customer- service driven tertiary diagnostic clinic in Cebu is in need of the following positions:
 
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT OFFICER
 
JOB SUMMARY
 
The Inventory Management Staff prepares the stocks and supplies for all branches. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining inventory level to ensure that each branch has sufficient stocks needed for the daily operations. The Staff also handles review of Doctors Fees, Consultation Tickets and Chong Hua networking Fees.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and consolidate purchase request.
  • Release items to requestor.
  • Inspect and received delivered items. Ensure that items are of excellent quality and expiry must be at least more than six months.
  • Record goods receipt purchase order.
  • Collecting invoices, record and post to the system.
  • Ensure that there are no shortage and overstocking of supplies and materials.
  • Prepare Inventory posting, goods issue and goods transfer.
  • Coordinate with Branch Heads in case of Inventory variances, high usage and etc.
  • Prepare reports required by General Accounting Officer such as raw materials usage and inventory balances and others.
  • Conduct inventory audit or physical counting of inventories.
  • Check Chong Hua networking fees.
  • Review Doctors fees, consultation tickets and Doctor Referral Fees.
  • Update disbursement book.
  • Comply to any call outs regarding Quality Standards.
  • Perform any job-related tasks as deemed necessary.
CORE COMPETENCIES
  • Filing Skills: Ability to organize invoices, receipts, correspondence according to the filing system used by the department/section.
  • Monitoring Skills: Ability to monitor and maintain inventory level and reconcile stock counts to received number of items. 
  • Keen to Details and Accuracy: Ability to keep track details of stocks and supplies and reconcile actual stock count to computer generated reports. 
  • Communication Skills: Able to convey factual information tactfully and expresses thoughts in an organized manner through written and oral communication
  • Coordination Skills: Ability to coordinate with various departments by collecting invoices and document receipts needed for filing purposes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
 
KNOWLEDGE
  • Knowledge of SAP and MS Office applications, standard office practices & procedures and the willingness to learn

ABILITIES
  • Ability on how to manage stocks
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in any course
DECISION MAKING AND PROBLEM SOLVING
  • All information pertaining to the company should be kept confidential and should not be disseminated to customers or outsiders.
ISSUES TO REFER TO SUPERVISOR
  • When clients wants to speak to supervisor and also in providing item codes for the fixed assets.
CHALLENGES WHILE PERFORMING ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • The major challenge in this job is when the branches or the sections has shortage of stocks or they have urgent requests.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Work performed by Inventory Management Staff is subject to the following conditions: Pushing, handling, standing, crouching, reaching, picking, lifting bulky objects.
MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL DEMANDS
  • Dealing with different demands of section officers.

EQUIPMENT USED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 
Including but not limited to computer, photocopier, mobile phone multi-line telephone.
 
OTHER RELEVANT JOB INFORMATION
  • Assisting my colleague on billing clients and posting of collection reports.
