HR MANAGER
 
OVERVIEW:
 
The ideal HR Manager will manage the HR department, especially the vital activities of the company like recruitment, compensation and benefits, labor relations, organization development and training, performance management, employee welfare, and other vital HR functions.  
 
This position is based out of our Cebu City, Philippines office near Cebu Business Park; working 8am - 5pm local time. Join us in building software that improves safety, quality, and accountability across the planet. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for managing the Human Resources department and day-to-day operations
  • Manage recruitment, compensation and benefits (including payroll), labor relations, organization development and training, performance management, employee welfare, and other vital HR functions
  • Design, set up, and institutionalize HR-functional systems, policies, and procedures, including performance management
  • Represent the Company in cases of a labor dispute and acts as a point person between the Management and employees
  • Communicate company goals and objectives, directions, policies, and organizational changes to employees
  • Conduct leadership training and other functional training programs to employees
  • Design and recommend employee welfare programs and activities to foster teamwork and cultivate a high-performance culture
  • Perform organizational checks from time-to-time and provide recommendations to Management to optimize manpower efficiency and performance
  • Ensure effective filing and retrieval of personnel records
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or any-business-related course
  • 3+ years of extensive experience in HR as a manager or supervisor
  • A full grasp and appreciation of all facets of HR functions in an organization
  • Working knowledge in recruitment and labor relations (basic employment/labor laws)
  • Exposure to compensation and benefits design and implementation, including performance management
  • A strong business sense, analytical, and with proven problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication ability, and effective leadership skills
  • Working in a multinational company is a plus
