Helpmate Services Incorporated (HSI for brevity), is a corporation duly organized under Philippine Laws, engaged in providing janitorial, messengerial, manpower and comprehensive agricultural services to its clients in the different areas of  Visayas and Mindanao.  HSI was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 26, 2004 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Helpmate Services Incorporated, a 100% Filipino owned corporation also registered with the securities and Exchange Commission on March 21, 1966.
 
The principal and operating office of Helpmate Services Incorporated is at 330 N. Bacalso Avenue, Cebu City. It has branch offices in the cities of Tacloban, Cagayan De Oro City, Davao City and a Satellite office inside Nestle Facility in Magdum, Tagum City.
 
FIELD SUPERVISOR
 
I. SUMMARY
 
The role of the Area Supervisor and/or Area Team Leader is to provide supervision to his/her subordinates in their area of assignment. The area supervisor responsibilities include keeping a track of day-to-day running of the assigned area.
 
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Makes rounds to give special cleaning instructions and/or assignment and ascertains compliance of employees including messengers and drivers with directives.
  • Conducts regular inspections to ensure that all work performed by employees under his supervision meets established standards, safety and security rules.
  • Re-check and identify materials, supplies, and equipment needed by client and respond to requisitions cleaning supplies and materials in line with the monthly budget per client.
  • Assists and coach deployed employees in job skills, proper cleaning methods, use of equipment, safety practices and work regulations.
  • Supervising & monitoring the daily operations in his assigned area.
  • Forwards Incident Report to Admin Assistant for infractions, losses and damages of employees deployed under his supervision for corrective action and proper sanction.
  • Reports to Admin Assistant for absences, tardiness and attendance related concerns of deployed employees for corrective actions.
  • Managing appraisals and performance evaluation for employees.
  • Communicating with the staff and employees to understand the problems and other important aspects
  • Submits regular reports needed by the Operations.
  • Serve memos and disciplinary sanctions as determined by HRD in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
  • Coordinates closely with the Admin Assistant for personnel replacement or additional personnel requisition.
  • Function as a Safety Officer in monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations.
III.  QUALIFICATIONS
 
To perform this job successfully, the individual requires leadership and good management skills under his area of responsibility. The area supervisors are not actually expected to work in the area they supervise, but are expected to be knowledgeable about the working and procedures of that area to supervise effectively.
 
IV. JOB SPECIFICAIONS
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/Administration Management, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications with staff, members, vendors, etc. Driver’s License Can work under pressure and flexible
VIII. WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Work field assignment shall be determined or at the discretion of the Branch Head and required to report office.
