The Job

Effective use of web technologies has always been pivotal for our success, and we will count on your development skills to keep us at the top. You will be expected to:

Develop code that conforms to the design, addresses non-functional requirements, and complies with the coding standards and conventions. Participate in peer code reviews;

Create detailed Unit Test plan, perform unit testing, integration testing, support QA and User acceptable testing;

Work closely with Project Managers and other members of the development team to establish clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of the deliverables.

Analyze current programs and troubleshoot production issues.

Identify potential performance tuning improvement areas and implement tuning measures.

Ensure that best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle and ensure high quality delivery during all phases of the SDLC.

Possess a good understanding of change management and release processes.

The Candidate

The Skills We’re Looking For

Diploma/certificate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent;
3+ years of demonstrated experience in the Java space
Experience working in Java 8 and Spring Boot
Experience in building SaaS platform with distributed services
Knowledge of another language such as Python, C++, Scala, Kotlin…;
Strong understanding of design patterns, concurrency patterns and experience building thread safe code;
Strong understanding of domain driven design, Microservices patterns and distributed architectures
Experience writing tests for automated TDD frameworks
Excellent knowledge of relational databases as well as noSQL alternatives such as Elastic, Cassandra, Redis…;
Excellent knowledge of database schema design and query optimization
Experience using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery;
Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Aliyun, Tencent Cloud, GCP…) is a plus ;
Full-stack experience (including Angular frontend development) is a plus
