FRONT OFFICE ASSOCIATE (FOA)
 
Qualifications:
  • Male or Female
  • At least 5ft in height
  • At least 1-year experience in a hotel or other industry with the same position.
  • Good communication skills in English and with great comprehension.
  • Good in basic Mathematical skills and compute literate.
  • Customer Service oriented.
  • At least 5ft in height.
Job Description:
 
RESERVATIONS
 
The Reservations Officer provides and inputs the correct information from different sources of bookings (walkin or online) into the Front Office system. He/she gives appropriate suggestions of room type and room inclusions based on the Hotel’s rules and policies that fit the guests’ wants and requirements during their supposed stay dates.
 
CONCIERGE
 
To up the guest satisfaction and overall experience, the concierge provides satisfaction beyond expectation. This can be achieved by guiding and assisting them during their stay in Cebu. The hotel guest would also like to find out from a local what they can do during their vacation!
 
CASHIERING
 
The handling of payments and deposits with integrity upon guest check out and true reporting of sales is imperative in the duties of a front office associate.
 
GUEST RELATIONS
 
Guest relations entail building a connection with the guest to ensure satisfaction beyond expectation and to promote guest returnees. Assisting the guest concerning their stay and during their stay is the essence of any guest relations work. In this area of your duties, your customer service will be put to the test in providing overall guest appreciation despite all complaints and concerns.
 
RECEPTION
 
Just like any receptionist at a corporate office or a commercial establishment, the reception at a hotel aims to satisfy guest expectations by promptly assisting the guest with check in. The FOA also assists and receives reservations for guests. From the root word “receive”, a Front Office Associate’s reception duty goes beyond checking the guest in but doing so while providing ease and comfort, establishing guest-associate connection while the guest waits and minimizing the waiting time as short as possible
