The Legal Manager provides legal support to the organization including various legal related contractual documentation for customers, suppliers, contractors, consultants, and employees. He/she should also review and validate proposals and contracts from a legal standpoint, actively helping our Company avoid possible legal risks and violations. He/she also offers general legal counsel and support to upper management with respects to business alliances, partnerships and vendors’ licensing agreements as well as with potential transactions.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Drafts and/or reviews various agreements, resolutions, contracts, and documents involving the company
Prepare, review, and manage Suppliers, Partnerships, Consultancy, Licensing Agreements with Corporate Partners
Collaborate and provide business-minded legal counsel to departments within the Company
Management of legal department procedures
Implementation of new legal department procedures and initiatives
Ensures all of organzations transactions and procedures comply with corporate laws and regulations, including preparing for necessary documents for compliance
Represents the Company in legal proceedings
Design and oversee the Company’s policy and position on legal matters
Guides management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations
Keep internal legal documents
Complete other tasks as assigned by the Management
Qualifications / Skills Required:
Excellent knowledge of Civil Law, Common Law, Commercial and Corporate Law
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong business common sense
Great people skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment
Able to communicate with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and flexible manner
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately while adhering to organizational policies and procedures
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree in Law or equivalent.
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Law/Legal Services or equivalent.
