ACCOUNTING & FINANCE MANAGER
 
Department/Unit: HUMAN RESOURCE & ADMIN
 
Key Function:
 
The position is in charge of the Accounting & Finance activity of the Company. Work direcrly with the Head of the entity and responsible in Performing a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the company.
 
Job Requirements
 
Accounting
  • Responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables,
  • Payroll processing
  • Month end grant reporting, audit preparation, and other related duties as assigned.
  • Process vendor payments and check requests
  • Process employee reimbursements including managing employee Cash advance liquidation and reimbursements
Finance
  • Develop and manage annual budgets that are adequate for the organization’s needs including preparation of periodic budget forecasts
  • Prepare and maintain cash flow and analyses regularly
  • Analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows)
  • Assist in preparing year-end books for audit
  • Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures and regulations for any necessary entities
  • Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts as assigned
  • Respond to inquiries from staff regarding budgets, deposits, disbursement and grant reporting requests.
  • Peparation and reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis as indicated by the monthly closing schedule.
  • Process payroll and report payroll taxes for government compliance
  • Reviewing financial reports, monitoring accounts, and preparing activity reports and financial forecasts.
  • Investigate ways to improve profitability, and analyze markets for business opportunities, such as expansion, mergers or acquisitions in case needed.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Well organized with good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Work effectively with staff and external client
  • Work independently, organize tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
  • Demonstrate good judgment and good problem-solving skills
  • Experienced gain from Banking or Lending industry is an advantage; understanding of lending;
  • Expertise in Excel and QuickBooks and good attention to details.
Education
  • Bachelors Degree in Accountancy; CPA; with Cetification in any Business Finance, Audit & Accounting is an advantage
  • Should have at least three years experience in finance and accounting
