Summary/Objective
 
The Biomedical Product Manager will be responsible for managing our entire portfolio of products which includes quality and testing of new and existing products, data upkeep of current products (cross referencing, compatibility), and new product development. We are looking for a candidate to join our team remotely.
 
Essential Functions
  • Product testing
  • Quality control
  • Data entry/management (technical specifications, cross-referencing, compatibility, etc.)
  • Creating/adding new products to the database
  • Market research
  • Communication with our manufacturing team
  • Communication with our sales and service team regarding product changes
Competencies  
  • Strong Biomedical Engineering background
  • Experience managing a portfolio of healthcare products
  • Experience in product testing
  • Background in regulatory and manufacturing processes is a plus
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Strong knowledge of Excel 
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing a lot of data
  • Ability to work both remotely and as a team
Supervisory Responsibility  
 
This position currently does not have supervisory responsibilities but may require a support team in the future which will be managed by this position.
 
Work Environment
 
This job is a remote position. All office and computer equipment required to perform its duties will be provided by C&S. A dedicated, quiet location with a strong internet connection at home will be required for this position. 
 
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
 
This position will have the liberty to set its own schedule, however, full time involvement is expected to meet the goals set to meet the requirements of the position. 
 
Required Education and Experience
  • Biomed Engineering experience a must
  • Manufacturing a plus
  • Engineering a plus
  • Regulatory experience a plus
Preferred Education and Experience
 
A four-year degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Product Development is required. If the candidate demonstrates a proven record with the required experience, no particular prior education will be required.
