We’re looking for a Travel Coordinator to join our fantastic team! This is for a DAYSHIFT Australian account - Saturdays and Sundays off.
 
We are looking for an adaptable Travel Coordinator to work with a fantastic Travel company and a small yet dynamic team. You will initially be involved in Group Travel bookings, collating and ensuring that information for the client’s travels is always up to date and ready to be forwarded to 3rd parties when necessary. Someone who loves the tourism and hospitality industries as well as has high attention to detail would be a perfect candidate for the role.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Collate different information into Excel and Google Sheets and update as necessary
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers regarding different concerns
  • Enter data into Tramada, Ontraport, and Galileo
  • Manage calendar and determine where necessary to book and/or confirm appointments
  • Maintain and update any hotel contracts and relationships
  • Arrange site inspections for local hotels
  • Keep Accounts and Expenses sheets up to date
  • Create travel quotes for customers
  • Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Airline Operation, Airport Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or Hotel Management
  • Work experience as a travel agent, travel aggregator, or any other role in the travel and hospitality industry is preferred
  • Must have basic to intermediate knowledge and use level of Galileo Travelport systems
  • Excellent English - written and verbal
  • Able to use Microsoft Office and G Suite products
  • Knowledge in Ontraport - is a PLUS
  • Positive and personable attitude
  • Customer-oriented with good multi-tasking abilities
  • Possesses discretion, good judgment, and initiative
  • Excellent organizational and management ability
  • Someone personable, friendly, patient
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions easily
  • Eager and willing to learn
  • Able to work well in a team and autonomously
