We make sure we get the best of the best, after all, we are a ridiculously good company so we make sure our employees are top-notch. So come on, now we need your full concentration because it’s time to imagine what it’s like being a People First Director.
Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: that the Human Resource department makes sure that talent and cultural needs of the organization are met. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it will lead to one thing: that as the Human Resource Director, you will be directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource functions.
As the People Director, you will oversee all aspects of human resources processes including employee relations, performance management, training and development, organizational change, employee disciplinary actions, and ensuring legal labor compliance. You will also resolve employee relations issues, manage the annual performance appraisal process, implement employee engagement activities, manage the relationships among various departments and the whole leadership team.
As the People Director, you will also create, review company policies, procedures, and benefits. You also have to ensure their implementation as well as provide guidance on proper interpretation/application of HR policies. You need to ensure compliance with local labor laws, oversee the payroll and benefits administration. Lastly, you must be able to coach, mentor, and develop HR leaders on best practices and people management
So, do you have what it takes to become a People Director?
So, what is it we’re looking for? Well, since this is Director role you need to have at least 10-12 years experience working with HR processes and policies (HR Operations, Compensation and Benefits, HRIS).
What else? Since this is an HR Director role, we also need someone who has a vast knowledge of the law.
