One of our clients, Opus Inc. is searching for a motivated Accounting Assistant who is an excellent multi-tasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. Accounting Assistants can expect to assist the Accounting department with data entry, processing, and recording transactions, updating the ledger, assisting with audits or fact-checking, and preparing budgets and reports. You should be thorough, accurate, and honest with good bookkeeping skills.
Schedule: 7AM - 4PM
Salary: Php25,000 - 30,000
Minimum of two (2) years of payroll experience within an Australian Recruitment agency.
Excellent English communication skills.
Experience using Xero software and payroll software package (ideally Astute)
Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in Excel
Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
Providing support to the Accounting Department.
Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
Weekly Payroll for contractors across 3 businesses
Perform Compliance Checks across 3 businesses
Perform company fortnightly payroll
The first point of call for candidate Payroll inquiries (both over the phone and email)
Handle and assist in staff expenses
Assist with financial reporting
Answering overflow phone calls
Other ad hoc admin tasks as needed
