Job Brief
  • The cook is expected to prepare delicious meals according to the menu. He/she will cook dishes that will delight the customers' taste. He/she must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. He/she must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation, so we can expand our clientele.
Job Responsibilities
  • Sets up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepares ingredients to use in cooking (chopped and peeled ingredients)
  • Cooks food in various utensils or grillers
  • Ensures great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
  • Keeps a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Ensures all food and other items are stored properly
  • Checks quality of ingredients
  • Monitors stocks in the kitchen
  • Performs duties assigned by the immediate supervisor
Job Requirements
  • Preferably with at least 6-month experience in restaurant cooking
  • Has knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, frying, boiling, etc.)
  • Has the ability to follow all sanitation procedures
  • Has the ability to work in a team
  • Has excellent physical condition and stamina
  • Has a high school diploma or equivalent (NCII in Cookery is an advantage.)
