URGENTLY HIRING FOR ADDITIONAL BACK OFFICE SUPPORT STAFF FOR A HEALTHCARE BPO

Responsibilities:
  • Provides excellent customer service support to patients healthcare providers
  • Verifies patient accounts to appropriately document and triage phone calls
  • Consistently follows up appointments and treatment requests
  • Effectively communicates and coordinates with providers and adjusters to follow up reports and authorizations
  • Process emails, fax, correspondences and record requests through EMR (electronic medical records) tracking system
  • Prepares reports and submits them in a timely manner
  • Process provider dictation reports, 
  • Process and reviews RFAs 
  • Provides status updates and notes in the EMR system
  • Spreadsheets
  • Manages voice calls
  • Verifies commercial insurance eligibility and benefits
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of Nursing/PT/OT or allied medical courses preferred
  • Experience working in a healthcare industry/BPO is an advantage
  • Experience working in a medical clinic or office (e.g. medical office administrative assistant) is an advantage
  • Tech savy, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and can quickly learn the use of EMR
  • Great attention to details 
  • Critical and analytical thinker 
  • Can type at least 40 wpm
  • Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Experience in working with Workers' Compensation Authorizations
  • Exceptional customer service skills and phone etiquette
  • Graveyard shift
