Is currently looking for:
The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for maintaining inventory system accuracy, data integrity, local level audit controls and inventory levels to prevent product and/or raw material out-of-stocks.
Keeps stocks and products in proper order and segregation. Maintains records of materials in inventory and on order. Monitors reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities.
Responsible for warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling orders.
Must enjoy the trust and confidence of management, considering that he has custody of company property.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors and maintains current inventory levels, processes purchasing orders as required; and investigates problems.
Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
Records withdrawal of raw materials and receives finished products; label shelves.
Daily, weekly and monthly reports on inventory.
Receive and unload merchandise.
Check unload merchandise with purchase order.
Place merchandise on pallets or shelves for distribution.
Sort material according to product code.
Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the storehouse.
Responsible for safekeeping and integrity of stocks.
Carry out tasks as assigned by the CEO.
Scheduling of production to maintain optimal level of finished goods inventory.
Capacity to lift heavy objects and stocks.
Ability to maintain computerized inventory and to explain reports.
Ability to speak and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person.
Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another.
