Need Ink started as an ink refilling station and opened its 1st outlet on October 2003 at GMC Arcade Pajo Lapu Lapu City. After 3 months, the 2nd outlet was opened on January 2004 at N&N Arcade, Mandaue City.

Job Description:

To compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform general accounting that assures correctness of entries and accuracy of figures in recording and generating of monthly and annual financial report including branches.  These includes but not limited to the following:
    • Balance Sheet and Income Statement
    • Cash and Check Voucher Issuance
    • Sales Receipts
    • Accounts Payable
    • Adjusting Entries
    • Cost of Sales
    • Asset Inventory Control Monitoring
    • Journal Entries / General Ledger
    • Bank Reconcillation
    • Performs other related duties as assigned, also in activities and transactions in accordance with GAAP.
  • Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses.
  • Compiling data from branches, verifying and balancing receipts against deposits from banks.
  • Maintain schedules, review billings, and month end accruals.
  • Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred; knowledge of general and cost accounting; knowledge of computers and experience in computer conversions.
  • A minimum of four years accounting experience; experience in budget development and preparation of financial statements.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines; excellent accounting and math skills. This position requires the ability to interact with all types of people. Must be able to get along with co-workers, customers, vendors, and visitors to the facility. This position requires the ability to respond politely to all individuals and work well as a team player.
  • Position not substantially exposed to adverse weather conditions; ability to work flexible hours in addition to normal business hours.
