Qualifications:
  • Male or Female
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • College graduate, any degree
  • Experience in sales in a hotel/resort setting
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles within sales/marketing in the hospitality profession
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as Sales Associate or Sales Executive in the hospitality industry
  • Strong media and presentation skills
  • Organized and keen to details
  • Client-oriented personality; with high energy level
  • MS Office proficient
  • Flexible and can manage self in difficult situations
Job Summary:
 
In accordance with the policies, procedures and standards of Malagos Garden Resort and under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales, this position is responsible for the daily sales efforts the development of customers for the Resort including,  Rooms, Dining Outlets, Banquets and Parks. This will also include other revenue-generating facilities/outlets of the Resort. He/she must build business by identifying and selling to clients through various efforts through sales calls and other strategies.
 
He/she is also for responsible for maintaining courteous and competent Sales operations and services to clients by providing day-to-day supervision, direction and leadership to all Sales Associates.
 
He/she shall maximize positive client experience through personal attention, proper planning; aggressively pursues optimum revenue and guest experiential delight.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sells the resort's products, offerings by tapping all types of clients by doing sales calls and attending promotional exhibits and other related Sales activities
  • Maintains excellent relationships with existing clients by providing support, information, guidance and recommending packages fit to them
  • Keeping self informed of industry trends, market activities as well as of competitors
  • Contributes to the over-all target results to the Sales Team and the resort in general
  • Works closely and harmoniously to the operations team
  • Suggest product/package improvements when necessary
  • Other tasks inherent to the position.
