SALES MANAGER
 
Department: Sales Department
 
Reporting to: General Manager
 
Objectives:           
 
To manage sales of the company’s product and services by implementing sales plans and supervising sales staff. To ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel. Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short-and-long-term sales and earnings.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.
  • Establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Implements sales program by developing field sales action plans.
  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling prices by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring cost, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Completes sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
  • Maintains sales staff by selecting, recruiting, orienting and training employees.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Review progress of sales roles throughout the company.
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
  • Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top echelon decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with personnel to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
  • Interprets short-and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
  • Review expenses and recommends economies.
  • Holds regular meeting with sales staff.
  • Contributes to team effort b accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Specifications:
  • Male/Female;
  • Candidate must be a graduate of any college level course. Marketing, Management/ Accounting or equivalent course graduates have an advantage
  • Must have at least (3) yrs of work experience in the related field from the automotive industry.
