FINANCE MANAGER
 
Job Responsibilities:
 
Accounting
  • Processes payments/remittances
  • Schedules, prepares and processes electronic transfers and updates
  • Responsible in the preparation of all check vouchers related to expenses and other payables
  • With enough expertise in Financial statement preparation, bank transactions, foreign currency transactions, accounts payable monitoring with reconciliation, accounts receivable monitoring and reconciliations, bank reconciliations, cash disbursements, cash flow monitoring and inventory taking.
  • Preparation and filing of all BIR monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual tax payments as scheduled
  • Prepares projected/budgeted operating expenses
  • Prepares tax computations and returns
  • Coordinates with external auditors for all BIR reports and remittances
  • Prepares weekly sales reports, aged inventory reports and monthly reports
  • Monitors accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Keeps abreast of new tax rules and regulations and related laws to ensure company’s compliance
Management
  • Schedules deliverables timely
  • Oversees Accounts Payable, Accounting & HR
  • Monitoring & support to the personnel assigned under him/her
  • Responsible for his/her team’s performance
  • Drafts and serves performance appraisals
Government Processing/HR
  • Adherence to all reportorial requirements for BIR, PEZA, SEC, SSS, PAG-IBIG, PHILHEALTH, DOLE
  • Initiates, liaises and processes permits, clearances, financial reports, business registrations, etc.
  • Ensures organizational compliance on statutory requirements
  • Sound knowledge of statutory compliances, government reporting and standard scope of work in the payroll domain
  • Responsible in the computations of payroll, 13th month pay and other benefits
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Accounting or other related fields 
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting
  • At least 2 years of Team Management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks accounting software is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ms Excel savvy
