Solid Ground International is a non-profit organization dedicated to the help, assistance, and healing of trauma survivors through the maintenance of transitional housing.  We are seeking an administrative and finance officer to assist our transitional housing project in Cebu, Philippines.
Status: Part time
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Disburse and manage SGI funds and submit monthly financial reports to the Director
  • Maintain accurate financial records of all transactions and submit reports and receipts to the SGI accountant monthly
  • Facilitate maintenance and repair requests for the homes and office
  • File organizational paperwork with government offices in a timely manner
  • Complete payroll and BIR processing
  • Complete bank transactions on time
  • Complete other administrative tasks such as buying office and school supplies and filing financial documents
  • Assist residents with paperwork and documents needed for school and/or work
  • Complete any other administrative tasks assigned by the Program Coordinator and Director
  • College degree in accounting, business administration, or office administration
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a related field
  • Excellence in oral and written communication in English
  • Mature Christian faith
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic accounting
  • Integrity and honesty
  • Emotional maturity
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to establish rapport with SGI personnel, residents, and partner agencies from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
