Is currently looking for:

CIVIL ENGINEER

The holder of the position is in-charge of the site development of SIGC plant and other Shemberg Group of Companies.

Site development planning activities through planning, scheduling, monitoring and inspecting subordinate’s activities if there are any and propose improvements to the management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Coordinate with his Engineering Supervisor and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

2. Recommend to his immediate superior for approval of projects for plant development.

3. Develops, reviews, and implement systems, standards, programs and procedures including but not limited to an effective and efficient department operation

4. Check and recommend contracts and cost estimates to the Department Manager.

5. Researching and providing estimates for projects.

6. Implements safety working and housekeeping procedures at all times if there are projects

7. Initiate and carry out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.

8. Assists the Engineering Supervisor with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions.

9. Conduct regular inspections of the facilities for the purpose of identifying necessary renovations or new projects.

10. Recommend developmental programs for personnel based on skill/job deficiencies.

11. Perform other job-related duties required or assigned and not limited to the job description without overlapping with other duties.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

2. 3-years of experience in the operation and/or maintenance of a food manufacturing company.

3. In-depth knowledge of the food plant or refinery maintenance is an asset.

4. Experience and knowledge of processing equipment repairs and maintenance.

5. Experience and knowledge in project management.
